Speeding Operation in Roundhay

On Monday evening, Officers from the Roundhay Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a proactive operation targeting speeding vehicles.

One driver was caught travelling at 41mph in a posted 30mph area. It was also discovered the vehicle had no insurance.

The vehicle was seized and the driver reported to the courts.

Speed checks will continue to be carried out in the Roundhay ward, targeting those that pose a risk to our community through vehicles being driven in excess of the speed limit.
